Your password is your key to gain access to your e-mail account and must be handled with care. The following are general guidelines to prevent unauthorized access to your account:
• DO NOT share your password with anyone.
• DO NOT write it down on a sticky note or paper. If you have difficulty recalling your password, then simplify it.
•Change your password frequently. It is recommended that you change it once a month.
•Use strong passwords, typically a combination of letters and numbers.
•Make your password at least 6 characters in length.
•When using Webmail, always close the browser after logging out of the session.
•Recent browsers have the capability of storing online passwords on the local computer.
DO NOT use this feature. Someone may use the same system and enter your e-mail account using the stored password on the browser.
